Wine is a free software for running Windows applications in Linux like OS.Wine also provides Software library known as Winelib.Wine is not an emulator but rather you can say it as a compatibility layer alternative implementations of the DLLs.Wine is cross platform and written in C.Its latest stable release is Wine 1.2.3.Wine is liked by many Windows users.You can also play games like Counter Strike in Linux based OS after installing Wine.Since it is cross platform you can also install it on Fedora 15.I’ll say its installation is easier than other applications.
1-For installing wine,first go to Add/Remove Applications(Applications->Add/Remove Software)
2-Search for “Wine” in the search bar
3-Mark “A Windows 16/32/64 bit emulator” for installation and click on “Apply” to install Wine
4-Provide password and wait for sometime while wine gets installed.
5-Enjoy Windows applications in Fedora 15.
